Apple Concord Wine
Ingredients
- 20 lbs Jonathan Apples (Chopped and pressed)
- 10 lbs Concord Grapes (on skin 1 1/2 weeks in primary)
- 1/4 tsp Meta Powder (normal dosage therein on racking's)
- 20 drops Pectic Enzyme
- Acid blend adjusted to .7 (approx 1.26 oz.)
- 1 1/4 tsp. Nutrient
- Water to 5 gals as needed
- Sugar to taste (Our starting SG Adjusted was 1.096)
- 2 oz Oak chips
- Yeast Lavlin 1116
Very nice, Rose', Strangely enough the Concord did not dominate the bouquet but rather the apples did. Taste is very pleasant, again not of Concord but of Apple with a hint of the grape. This was a experiment with left over fruits that turned out very well, highly recommend.
