Sugar Beet Wine
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. sugar beets
- 1 1/2 lbs. sugar
- 1 oz. bruised ginger
- 9 pints water
- yeast
- nutrient
Wash and slice the beets. Boil with the ginger in 7 pints of water for 1 1/2 hours. Press and strain the beets, add the rest of the water, sugar and boil for 3/4 hour. Allow to cool. Add yeast and nutrient.
